2015 Kiplinger Journalism Fellowship
The Kiplinger Program in Public Affairs Journalism is accepting applications for its 2015 fellowship.
The fellowship aims to help journalists to “unite rigorous reporting with digital storytelling — so they can learn how to engage in social media and develop innovative online projects that inform wide audiences.”
Print, broadcast and online journalists with at least five years’ experience in the field are eligible to apply.
Fellows will spend a week at Ohio State University, USA, for intensive training in creative reporting using online data tools and social media; public affairs reporting; and backgrounding individuals and companies and building online following.
Interested applicants must apply online at the Kiplinger Fellowship 2015 application link. The application requires a bio; a short explanation of how the Kiplinger Fellowship would benefit them and their news organizations; links to three recent stories.
The deadline for applications is October 30.

Asia Journalism Fellowship 2015
The 2015 Asia Journalism Fellowship of Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University is now accepting applications.
The Asia Journalism Fellowship (AJF) aims to “provide journalists the opportunity to sharpen professional skills, deepen domain knowledge, strengthen commitment to journalism’s mission, and form lifelong friendships across the region.”
All journalists residing in Asia with at least five years of professional journalism experience and currently working in the field may apply for the fellowship.
Applicants must submit a completed application form, an employer’s letter of support (not required for freelancers), three letters of recommendation, three to five samples of past works, and a signed data privacy form. All forms and other document formats can be downloaded at the AJF website How to apply page.
