VETERAN JOURNALIST Muriel “Twink” Macaraig passed away January 14. She was 55 years old.

In a post on Facebook, News5 confirmed Twink’s passing after a long-battle with cancer. Macaraig served as its anchor and senior manager.

Before Macaraig’s stint at News5, she worked as an anchor for Dateline Philippines in ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel) and co-hosted the now-defunct show The Brew.
