FELICER “BOY” Santos, a photojournalist for The Philippine Star, passed away due to cardiac arrest at a Quezon City hospital at around midnight on Friday (November 20). 

According to the STAR, where he was a photojournalist for almost three decades, Santos began covering the Quezon City Police District and Camp Crame beats in April 1993. 

“He used to be our labman, then eventually became one of our best photojournalists assigned to different beats. Brother Boy was a very open and vocal person, he spoke his mind,” his fellow STAR photographer Walter Bollozos said. 

Santos, who died at the age of 53, is survived by his two children, Bonjoe Feliz and Bea Felyn. 

According to his son Bonjoe, Santos’ wake would continue till Wednesday morning (November 24) at the Orchids Chapel in La Funeraria Novaliches along Quirino Highway in Quezon City.
