CMFR, SEAPA join 1st year anniversary commemoration of the Ampatuan Massacre

Local and regional journalists as well as press freedom advocates marked the first year anniversary of the Ampatuan (Maguindanao) Massacre in Mendiola last 23 November 2010.

Earlier, the Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility in coordination with the Southeast Asian Press Alliance (SEAPA) held the fifth Journalism Asia Forum with the theme “Impunity and Press Freedom”. The forum was attended by journalists and media advocates from the Philippines, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
