Obit: Nkolokosa, 53

Malawi veteran journalist Jika Nkolokosa died Dec. 27, 2010 after a short illness. He was 53.

Nkolokosa once worked for Nation Publications Limited, which owns the national daily, The Nation, and other publications like Weekend Nation (formerly, Saturday Nation) Fuko, and magazine Nation on Sunday (formerly, Inspiration). He then transferred to Blantyre Publishing and Printing Company where he became the general manager.

He has  written columns in the Weekend Nation and the Malawi News. Nkolokosa also served as the Executive Director of the Malawi Institute of Journalism. His short stories and poems are also well-known all over the country.

Nkolokosa is survived by his wife.
