Reading what they support—or oppose

Cheers to GMA News Online for posting the full text of the consolidated Reproductive Health (RH) bill approved by the House Committee on Population and Family Relations as of Jan. 31.

Citizens and journalists, as well as advocates and opponents of the bill, can now read the text of the bill they claim to be supporting or opposing. GMA News Online noted that a November 2010 Pulse Asia survey showed that 69 percent of Filipinos agreed with the bill, but that the majority admitted that they had not read the text of any of the RH bills filed in either house of Congress.
