In light of the alleged corruption issues hounding Vice-President Jejomar Binay and the Iloilo Convention Center (ICC), the Dec. 11 program looked at how the government’s infrastructure project deals often become fraught with such irregularities as overpricing, kickbacks given to public officials, ghost deliveries, and rigged biddings, among others. The episode discussed in detail the controversial infrastructure projects in Makati City and Iloilo.

It also reported that some of the top contractors of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) have been paying their taxes properly and are involved in the pork barrel scam according to the Commission on Audit.
