Media and PWID Training and Fellowship Program

PROBE MEDIA FOUNDATION, INC, in partnership with Unilab Foundation, is inviting media practitioners to a training workshop about persons with intellectual disabilities (PWIDs).

The workshop’s theme is “PWID: Stories on Capabilities and Contributions”, with a focus on PWIDs in the workforce. Participants are encouraged to produce stories that break negative stereotypes and misconceptions about PWIDs. It will be held from July 14 to 15, 2016 at the Bayanihan Center, Mandaluyong City.

The workshop is free of charge. In addition to this, media practitioners are invited to apply for a fellowship grant that will provide financial support for the applicant’s story proposal.

Interested parties are encouraged to sign up online as soon as possible. Deadline for the registration for the training workshop is on June 30. For those interested in applying for the grant, the deadline for proposal submission is on July 25.
