6th Hildegarde Awards cites PJR Reports
PJR Reports (PJRR), the country’s first and only media-monitoring publication, was cited for outstanding achievement in print journalism at the 6th Hildegarde Awards for Women in Media and Communication.
The special citation was for “its series of reports and articles on the issues of press freedom and media responsibility and its continuing advocacy for ethical media practice.”

The awards were named after Benedictine saint St. Hildegarde von Bingen, a female intellectual in Germany in the 12th century.
Special citations for outstanding achievement in print journalism were also given to Newsbreak’s Elena Masilungan and the Philippine Daily Inquirer’s Jessilyn dela Cruz.
