Radio Nederland Training Center Scholarships

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) is accepting applications for journalism courses at the Radio Nederland Training Center (RNTC).

Journalists with at least three years’  professional experience and who are from developing countries are encouraged to apply for the following courses which will be held next year: Investigative Journalism, Using Media for Behavior Change, Using Media for Development, and Media campaigns.

The NFP will cover the full travel and visa costs (if required), accommodation and meals, insurance, and course fee.

LinkedIn Tutorial for Journalists

LinkedIn, a business-oriented social networking service, is offering a free online seminar for journalists working in the Asia-Pacific region.

The “LinkedIn for Journalists” seminar will feature reporting tools and advice on how to find sources, formulate story ideas and expand audience reach primarily through the use of social networking platforms.

Participants must join the LinkedIn for Journalists Group to access the web conference.  The seminar will be held on September 9, 1:30 pm, Japan Standard Time.
