Call for Papers: MediAsia 2015

MediAsia 2015, the 6^th Asian Conference on Media and Mass Communication organized by the International Academic Forum (IAFOR), is now accepting abstracts of papers for presentation at the Art Center of Kobe in Japan from November 12 to 15, 2015.

This year’s conference runs on two themes:  “Power” and “Human Rights, Justice, Media and Culture”. Submitted abstracts will be organized into thematic streams such as Communication Theory and Methodology, Journalism, Media Disaster Coverage, Media and Education, and many others.

Journalism Scholarships: Radio Nederland Training Center

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) are accepting applications for journalism courses at the Radio Nederland Training Center (RNTC), an internationally-renowned media training institute based in The Netherlands.

Midcareer journalists from developing countries are encouraged to apply for the following courses: Mastering Story in Documentary-Making, Using Media for Development, Producing Media to Counter Radicalization, Video Journalism, and Broadcast and Multimedia Journalism. The NFP will cover the full travel and visa costs (if required), accommodation and meals, insurance, and course fee.
