1st UST National Campus Journalism Awards
Print or online college-level publications are invited to send their entries to the 1st UST National Campus Journalism Awards.
They may submit a maximum of three entries for each of the three categories: Best In-depth News, Best Feature, and Best Editorial. These must be published in print or online within a year prior to the deadline on October 23, 2015 at 5 pm. Scanned copies of the articles in PDF format or screen grabs of articles published online must be sent via email to ustncja@gmail.com.
Winning publications will receive P10,000 in cash, as well as trophies and medals. They will also be awarded complimentary slots in this year’s Inkblots: the National Campus Journalism Fellowship organized by The Varsitarian of UST.

2015 Mindanao Photography Competition
The National Commission on Culture and the Arts, in cooperation with the Mindanao State University- Gensan, is conducting the 2015 Mindanao Photography Competition.
The competition is open to Mindanao-based photographers and enthusiasts, amateur or professional. Entries must be photos or images taken anywhere in Mindanao and must be on the theme, “Celebrating Mindanao’s Indomitable Spirit,” and depicting a group or community in Mindanao working together to achieve a common goal.
The Grand Champion will receive a cash prize of P50,000, while the 1st and 2nd runners-up will receive P30,000 and P15,000, respectively. All the three winners will also be awarded trophies and certificates. Two Jury Prizes of P5,000 each and five consolation prizes of P1,000 each will also be given. The winning entries and those of the top 30 finalists shall be exhibited in a venue in General Santos City from May 25 to 29, 2015.
